Conversations

What happens in the conversation

What to expect, what is written down, and what happens afterwards.

The shape of it

Your facilitator has read your reflection. The conversation follows the questions you answered, and goes where it needs to.

Nothing is scored. There is no assessment, no rating and no label attached to anything you say.

The five stages

Every conversation moves through the same five stages, and the stage decides what the product asks of you next.

Scheduled — the conversation exists and has a date. Reflection — you are writing your answers. Ready for conversation — you have submitted and your facilitator is preparing. In conversation — you are meeting, and the facilitator is drafting the shared record. Complete — the record is agreed and the commitments are live.

What gets written down

At the end, you and your facilitator agree a shared record: what mattered, and anything either of you committed to. You see it. Nothing enters it that you have not agreed.

What happens afterwards

Open commitments carry into your next conversation. What was discussed contributes, alongside every other conversation in the round, to what the organisation reads as patterns — never as your words attributed to you.
